Hector noticed and said, “It’s not
just any old ruined castle, though. I
watched a TV programme with my
owner a few weeks ago about the
castle. It’s called Tintagel Castle and,”
Hector paused dramatically, “a wizard
called Merlin used to live there. And
a king called Arthur too. Well, that’s
what people think.”
Sunny’s beautiful eyes grew wider
and wider. “A wizard? And a king?
Was the wizard magic? What did he
do? Did he wear a pointy hat and one
of those long robes? Oooo, Hector,
this is so exciting.”
